Starting out in 2013 as the brain child of original drummer Simon Verrill, Revenant were a hard and heavy rock covers band, who covered everything from Metallica to Rage Against The Machine.
In 2016 however, the lead singer left, leaving a gap in the lineup. Introducing Hannah, previously of North East cover band Syndicate 66, who came to audition with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Dio and Audioslave. The band were impressed and she became the new front-woman for Revenant.
This was totally different for the guys, having previously only having male singers, and they suddenly found themselves re-jigging the set with this new type of voice that had entered the band in an exciting and new change.
Since starting to gig as a full band in Winter of 2016, Revenant have gone from strength to strength, with a unique and dynamic setlist of songs from the biggest Monsters to the biggest Women in Rock. Including but not limited to: Heart, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses and many more!
After finding their feet, they are excited now more than ever to get out into the world and rock out!
